5. Mora

An intriguing mix of rocky and sandy beaches, giant drift logs, pounding waves and offshore islands known as 'seastacks' are features that define the wilderness coast of Olympic National Park.  One of the more easily accessible sections of coast is the Mora area, including Rialto Beach, Second and Third Beaches in the national park and First Beach on the Quileute Indian Reservation near the fishing village of La Push.  To explore these areas, turn off of Highway 101 just north of Forks on Highway 110.  No two miles of Olympic coastline are the same so try to visit a few different beaches in this amazing ecosystem.
